ABOUT THE ARTIST FLO
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Flo got a soft spot for the vibrant essence of her hometown. With a background in photography and storytelling, Flo draws inspiration from her journey, which began in Hong Kong and continued in America. Fusion Spark started with a her drawing of four-strips comics depicting the cultural differences between the East & West (primarily the U.S.) while she was living Minnesota and later relocated to Hawaii. She draws inspiration from her intercultural marriage with her redheaded husband and created the comic series "Asian & Redhead" on IG.
After a five-year detour in the sunny paradise of Maui and building her photography business there, she returned to Hong Kong with a suitcase full of inspiration and a heart full of stories. She wanted to create design that connects Hong Kong to the rest of the world.Β
Flo is an illustrator, photographer, and a writer. She is currently writing a graphic memoir about an immigrant story to the United States which will be released in later 2025.Β
